JMTC closed Alice in Wonderland Jr. on Sunday, May 27th, 2012. A huge thank you everyone who came out to support these talented actors and to all of the parent volunteers that helped clean and pack up after the show!!!

Everything is ready to go! We have been rehearsing for months and have been counting down the weeks. We head to the Franco Manitoban Cultural Centre and into the theatre for dress rehearsal on Friday evening and then open on Saturday at 4:00 pm. Come and check us out! JMTC joined over 400 performers to help raise money to fight the battle against cancer. We were treated to performances by Brady Dance Academy, Heartland Singers, Bolero Dance Company, Grant Park Middle School, Grant Park High School Dance, Reynalyne Mae Gacilan, Chai Folk Ensemble and L.A. Dance and were featured in a full festival production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The house was packed! Thank you to all of those who came out to support such an important cause.

JMTC has been offered a unique opportunity to perform in Winnipeg Broadway Theatre’s Fundraiser show entitled Dare to Dream. Dare to Dream is a charity show for Cancer Care Relief on March 19th, 2012 at 7pm. Tickets for the show are $18 and every penny goes towards Cancer Care Relief. JMTC will be performing in the 2nd half of the show in the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. For more information, please visit the Facebook event.

JMTC spent the day at the theatre running the show for tomorrow’s opening. Tickets will be on sale at the door for the 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm shows.

A Little Bit of Broadway will be opening on December 11th with two shows at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. We have been rehearsing like crazy and putting the finishing touches on all of the songs in this medley of show tunes. Get your tickets today before they sell out!
