And we are back at it!
This year we have 25 of Winnipeg’s best and brightest up-and-comer performers. First rehearsal we blocked our first number of our December show and are looking forward to many laughs along the way. Our first show is a medley of showtunes based on the themes of overcoming adversity and finding strength in oneself. Can’t wait to see these young powerhouses on the stage at the Asper Centre for Theatre and Film!!!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Singin’ In The Rain Junior!!! The shows were received by warm audiences full of family, friends and past JMTC’ers. What a joy to see everyone singing their hearts out on stage! Thank you to everyone involved, can’t wait for the wind-up on the 24th.

Last double rehearsal of the year is complete
Our last rehearsal is complete. Two straight days of singing and dancing our way through this show forwards and backwards. Everyone is ready to go!! Make sure you get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment. This is one show you are not going to want to miss.

Umbrellas and Costumes and Singing, Oh my!
Our show is finished and we are now running with costumes and a lot of umbrellas!!! This show has it all, awesome tap numbers, some sweet ballads and a whole bunch of goofy laughs. Get your tickets before the show sells out!!!
Nearly complete
We set a goal to have our whole show blocked and choreographed before Spring Break and I think we are set to make this goal! We are nearly finished our last big dance number which includes tap, solo and duet work and of course some serious jazz hands!!! Tickets are on sale next week and I am sure this one will be a sell-out. Get yours early to avoid disappointment.
There are so many fun characters in this show
Rehearsals are picking up, we have blocked nearly half the show already! Today we were introduced to 29 of the characters in Singin’ In The Rain including a morose film assistant, a budding starlet and a punchy director! I can’t wait to see all these guys in action.
